There is an interval of 90 minutes for each opera performance (60 minutes on 2 August), designed for dining or picknicking in the park.
You have the following choices – you can:
- bring your own picnic, or
- buy picnics (by advance order and supplied by our partner Bernard Patisserie,
- dine in our restaurant “L’orangerie”, or
- have a light meal in our tearoom (order no later than before the beginning of the performance.
Prices: purchased picnics from €27 per pitch; picnic table hire €10 and chairs €2 each; dinner in L’Orangerie €45. You can add any of these to your order when you book your opera tickets.
You can rent tables and chairs from us for your picnics (whether you bring them or buy them from us),

Our bar serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks before the performance and during the interval.
For concerts there will be a shorter interval of 20-30 minutes and the bar will be open.
